Koss, Ennis and JJK in
Habs just won and are tied with Jets after jet loss. Man I don't want to play Habs...
Anyhow, we have our problems against Nucks. Fatigue should set in either way during this 4 game stretch. We can clinch a spot tonight!

Well we’re 3-1 this year against them so far. I like our chances.

Well we’re 3-1 this year against them so far. I like our chances. True. Just trying to be fair. Nucks had a brutal schedule to start and they are not playing at 100%. Usually it's a difficult matchup

crazy thing is, first in the division still isn't out of the question. We trail by 6 with 2 games in hand. A losing streak for Toronto and us putting a streak together and we can pull off tops

A losing streak for Toronto and us putting a streak together and we can pull off tops That would be nice if true Bronco.....unfortunately we trail by 8 with 2 games in hand. So we would need to win the two games in hand, and still be 4 pts back of Toronto, with just 4 games each to play.......we likely have to settle for 2nd spot and take it from there, and unless the Jets come back to life, we play the Habs who knows how many games in succession thereafter. I hope Kassian can be fit for at least some of those games, it will be one tough physical group of games v Montreal.

yep, it would be a major surprise to finish first however TO play Habs 2 more times this week and if either team wins or loses both, it would make our race with TO interesting, or give Jets a chance to regain/maintain 3rd,so still lots to play yet IMO!

Same lineup except for Smith tonight
Usually I'm not a fan of having Neal, Ennis and Jones playing, it will work with the depleted Nucks bit not against the better teams. They leak too much...
Hoping McLeod gets a point tonight. You can clearly see he's been worried about defense up til now and doing pretty well.
Nuge was probably our best player last night. Very solid and drove the play. Probably his best game all year for driving the play and making players around him better.

Agree Windsor, he seemed to enjoy bein "centre" of attention again LOL!. also having Yam with him seemed to work really well despite that being a very undersized line! Not sure if that combo can work in the playoffs, but how can you deny the chemistry JP, DRai and mcD had? It will be tough to keep those lines in playoffs put it can bag us lots of points till end of season at least, so who knows how long we stick with it? IMO its a good time for Tipp to be tinkering so dont mind it atm!

We are missing the rh faceoff guy and hope it doesn't cost us in the playoffs. Against Toronto and again last night we see what can happen...

Now is definitely the time to tinker. It would be great if we could interchange guys depending on that game's circumstances. Such as Puljujarvi and Yammer switching once in a while from 1st line to 2nd line. Throw the opposition off some games with Drai and McDavid on the same line and other games they could drive their own lines. I like what I see from the team lately, staying focused when down, the ability to protect a lead when ahead and they seem to finally be playing for each other like good teams do. I'm also looking forward to seeing Smith backstop the team to a few victories which hopefully leads to more victories. After that I also look forward to what Holland can do with a little cap space and assets next season and the seasons to come.

He’s decent size , great speed and good at face offs atm. He hasn’t proved he can score and rack up points but he hasn’t had much opportunity and it may take him More time to adjust to speed Of nhl

Bouchard and Turris in tonight.
Neal out for Turris. Not sure who’s sitting for Bouch.

McLeod - McD - JP Nuge - Drai - Yam These lines could give other teams fits.

Very impressed with McLeod and Bouchard last night. Smith great after an early bad bounce. Thought Ennis had one of his best games...good timing for that.
I'm very excited by the way Tipp can slide guys in and out of the lineup, and the team can win games in different ways. To me, that's the sign of a good team.
It's going to be so weird to the Oilers on the ice against a non-North division team. Hopefully we'll se it in a few weeks.

My favorite was Nuge's check on Hughes, can't find the vid for it. That line is working well, think they are too smurfish for the playoffs though.
We now have the #1 PP in the league at 27.2%

It would be great if KH could find a large, tough top 6 forward to go with nuge and resign both for around $8M. Then we'd have a decent 2nd line to go with the best line in the league. the 3rd and 4th lines have been doing their job for the most part. I believe yam will find his touch again and be on the 2nd line but kahun should be let go IMO
