Whats the next milestone..we are at American thanksgiving sitting in a playoff spot right now. I think the fifty game mark for me is the spot where if we are in a decent playoff position it should be safe to assume we are in. Injuries are really starting to affect our lineup again, so i hope we can continue this pace for another 25 games . I think we will. The bounce back for this team has been great after a poor outing, so i expect this to continue.

After what happened with Buffalo and St Louis last year, I think the old benchmarks might be off the calendar. And Washington, and Calgary, and Tampa.... Fight until somebody hands you a garbage bag to clean out your locker.

Keep working and stay with the team plan and we should make the play offs. I hope the injuries don't start piling up, that was brutal last game. That high altitude didn't help us any.

I remember reading about the old Red Wings and Kings how they approached games and to them it was just about consistency and playing the right way. There was something about not getting burnt out worrying that this was a critical game. To them it was just another day at the office. No big celebrations over a win or no big let down after a loss; just another day.
I’d like to see us get there eventually, but for now I do think we have to take this “make or break” approach.

Consistency is the key word, we can call it different things but being ready every game is the goal. We now have a good team that will get even better so learning how to play consistently every game is very important.

In years past December and January are sluggish for this team. We can't have that happen again. We need Nuge back and get some f-ing shots on net. The cute little plays are a win killer but good for Sportsnet when you get the finesse goal in a loss.
