I'd put Perlini on second line over Yam, I think it adds size and gives both Drai and Nug a bit more room.

I wouldn’t mind trying Benson or Turris Turris looked pretty ugly vs flyers IMO, but he's another guy who is "supposed" to be more effective in top 6 so why not? benson was a phenom in junior till injuries hit so I wouldn't mind giving him a kick at the cat either? It would at least determine whether or not its worth keeping him or just let him go on the waiver wire?

Nothing to lose with any of these options really.

I've never been a fan of Yamamoto's size. But the kid digs, doesn't take a shift off. Don't get the bashing or even the suggestions of replacing him with left handed players. We are only 6 games into the season people. Koskinen, loses 1 of 4 games, and the daggers come out. Come on OMB, have a little patience. It is ok to NOT dislike an Oiler.

Trying not to bring out any daggers lol. Problem is the sample size is not 6 games, with Koss and Yammo it was most of last year too. Trying to bite my tongue, fans are back, it's a new season so not going to complain about 1 game or our 5-1 record. Positive vibes.
I do hope Koss handles the puck only when he needs to though. We gave him cred before that he has improved but he's not good enough at it when you play a heavy forecheck team where he has little time to make a play.

Speaking of 5-1 record. Looks like my GDT streak has come to an end too so somebody else has to step up for Saturday's game and start a new streak.

If you think the "daggers come out" because Koskinen loses 1 of 4 games you are mistaken. He has lost us games we had no right to lose for the past 3 years, and if you can't see that, that is your problem, not the problem of people who can see what he is, which is maybe, just maybe a reasonable back up goalie for NHL games, but as a reliable # 1 or #1B he just does not have what it takes, end of. He was either directly or indirectly responsible for 3 of the 4 goals that went past him v Philly, maybe even 4 of 4 as how often to you see an NHL goalie (a proper one) beaten by a shot out of the air from so far out as that 3rd goal? Nurse at fault also for sure, but clearly Koskinen had gone to sleep thinking the period was over, and no danger was present. Smith has bad games also, but his good ones outweigh the bad ones, with Mikko, I am sorry, but it is the other way around......it isn't just one game my friend, it is a succession of very poor performances.

Ok guys, I had to delete some posts because they amounted to personal attacks.
I get that Koskinen is a polarizing figure. I myself have swung back and forth between glad he's here, putting my hand up first to drive him to the airport, and presently very much on the fence.
And we all want the Oilers to succeed. If anything, this start has us in a kind of "is it possible>?" disbelief kind of mode, and that can raise the emotional stakes.
But we can still make our points without getting personal about it, no?

Some people make it a point to make it personal. LOL I agree, everyone has an opinion, check your ego at the door. Point out what your stance is and sometimes be willing to walk away when all your points have been exhausted.
