Thnx Broncs for the GDT!! Very impressive!!
I think we are gonna win tonight 6-0. Koski gets the shutout he should have got against the Nucks. Nuge and Yams each get a goal tonight.

Go Oilers! Kick some Kraken Fogolin2. I am cheering for the Oilers for every game and hope that the Kraken beat every other divisional opponent and loose the rest like a proper expansion team.

We have like 8 shots on goal in 2 periods. I find the oilers lazy tonight. Koss playing good, do you guys think they are underestimating the Kraken having played last night?

That may have been the Oilers worst game of the year, but good teams find a way.

Certainly not our best.
Have we become one of the teams that used to mail it in against us, and still get the win? Wouldn't that be something?

Koskinen played great, he had a solid game. Not the toughest night, but made the one save against Ebs right before we went up 4-2 and that was kind of it Solid boring average goalie doing solid boring average goalie things. I'm Kuzmenkoing thrilled.

Certainly not our best. Have we become one of the teams that used to mail it in against us, and still get the win? Wouldn't that be something? I was thinking this the other day. 80’s Oilers used to do that, too. So long as we know when to (and how to) turn it up especially for the playoffs, we may have just taken another step.

I watched for years as teams would play Van or Cgy the night before or after us, and look totally different. Different lineup. Different goalie. And they would just walk us for the easy two points. Flames and us are the hottest teams in the league right now. Interested to see ho Nashville handles the b2b.

Some fun facts: Since May 1st, Connor McDavid is:
- 135th in Penalties Drawn
- 289th in Penalties Drawn/60
- 203rd in Penalties Taken/Drawn Differential/60
Just let that sink in

I'm Flames sucking thrilled. I am not so sure about not the toughest night. The Cult of Hockey guys had Seattle with 17 Grade A chances.

I just don't think a team with leading scorers Tanev-McCann-Giordano is as dangerous as some others. 17 against the Avs or Leafs or Panthers or Hurricanes will look WAY different, imo.

Refs are far more likely to be disciplined/lose job for calling the game honestly, than for using the GMS. It's deeply ironic that everyone seems to know they "manage the games" but no one in power seems willing to step up and say/do something? I can't imagine the problems of creating this kind of culture could cause??

That's what makes me the maddest. Our own ownership and management know it's happening but they sit there and take it like a chained up dog having rocks thrown at it.

Tip and McD have both done it subtly, if you criticize too much you def won't get the calls. You also have a PP running at 50% and 30% in prior years so that's why mother teams get away with it.
If our PP was much less effective we would get more calls. Have to play through it...
I agree we need to protect our star players and let them shine. The league is suppose to allow for that. Since our PP is so deadly, it works against us. Sadly
