Looks like good additions:
Henrique just turned 34 in Feb, lots of experience but only has been in 4 playoffs games*
Carrick 32, lots of experience, no playoffs games*
Both should be hungry...
Stecher can bring it from time to time so decent add. But not a top 4 D. But he shoots right which is what we need.
Not sure if we are done, see what happens but welcome to the new players! Please correct me if wrong on the stats *.

I think there is still another move coming. Make it a good one Ken hope so, Stecher is actually a decent 7th D-man add but thats all he is, injury insurance. minimal cost though and KH slowly cornering the market on 7th round picks

He must be valuing 7th round picks quite highly after the way Desharnais has blossomed from a 7th round pick "doubtful to ever play an NHL game" to Nurse's partner and a player who is still evolving and we still don't know his ceiling. At 6'7", that's a pretty high ceiling for potential.

We have witnessed disaster trade deadlines by the Bruins, CBJ, Leafs in previous years. These teams added multiple top players that screwed up their team chemistry. I like what we did here. Still going to ride the players that got us this far. The biggest improvement this year is team D, the zone coverage seems to be working. I'll also give props to Vinny, he is lights out a better player today than last year. Still not great, but better. And a big screw you to the league and the Knights. I'm sure there will be a rule change next union/league contract. Talk about abuse of the rules.

I had hoped for an upgrade from Ceci but if the Oilers are on their game they can beat anyone. A right handed Ekholm would put them over top. If the cap is supposed to work then the NHL must carry it throughout the playoffs. For the cap to actually create a level playing field it should be calculated on net pay AND carry through the playoffs.

Keep it the same but come playoff you can only dress who ever fits under the cap. So in Vegas situation Hertle, Mantha,or Stone ( or any other) could be healthy but not able to play because that would put them over.

I thought Stecher did well with his time in Calgary.
