What's up with the boards? Posts are being quarantined. I'm afraid this may not work out as good as we hoped. Oh well. It was worth the try. To bad anyway. Maybe there are glitches but I don't have time for quarantines. By all! Sorry to see you go, it's unfortunate of course but if we want to keep this forum free of spammers then it's a sacrifice we had to make.

I hope you find a new forum home that's more to your liking. Bronco, I don't think you guys understand. There is a problem. If it isn't corrected, what's the point of the boards? If you guys would rather me not be on the boards cool. I just wanted to post. On the game day post, I asked a question but it was quarantined after more than 10 posts. The first 10 posts didn't have restrictions so this puzzles me. I would like to be included if that's alright with you guys. To my liking? Why such animosity? Strange under the circumstances. I'm excited to be a part if you guys will allow me.

Oh absolutely you're welcome. Here's what happened. You first arrived and there was no "establish your bona fides as a new poster" in place when this first started, so you got easily ten+ posts in. But getting things off the ground, we saw the need to put it in to weed out spammers. And unfortunately, the feature once it's newly put in apparently doesn't recognize your posts prior to implementation for purposes of getting you across the threshold. It happens regardless of the content of your posts after the feature was implemented. But at this pace, you should cross it in no time and be able to post to your heart's content.  |

On the original OMB, I posted more than 15K over a number of years. This confuses me. The intro paragraph said 10 posts but Super and Bronco say 5 posts but I had over 10. LOL Sorry to be a pain. This entire forum was put together literally within hours to give people a new place to discuss the team while the other one got turned off like a light switch, and we expected to have to make adjustments as we went along, including a 5 post rule to mitigate spamming. The quarantine was just put into effect yesterday, and unfortunately it does not take into account any members previous posts, including moderators. You have already made your 5 approved posts and can post unrestricted, If you seriously can't handle that then frankly there's nothing more we can do for you and I'm sure you will be able to find yourself a more appropriate place to discuss the team.

Are you saying I should just post regardless of the quarantine then it should be a short term annoyance?

We are not able to be putting in a special forum rule that says "We don't know who the spammers are but anybody named Telly definitely isn't, so give them a free pass". The 5 post rule applies to EVERYBODY, or would you rather see the forum riddled with idiots posting links to porn sites or chinese knockoff jerseys?

Telly, I just had Bronco register a dummy account, and post 6 replies in the Off-Topic discussion. 5 went to quarantine, and after that his posts are appearing without being quarantined. Are you positive you've posted 5 times? It's possible that the previous 10 post rule remained in effect with you since it was only changed to 5 today. How many posts have you made since the quarantine rule has been instituted?

Again, the quarantine rule DID NOT take effect until yesterday, and it DOES NOT account for a members previous posts, regardless of how many there were. The rule started every member at 0, regardless of their post history. I didn't program it, so I can't change that.

I counted 8 posts alone in this discussion and I also posted on the game day thread so that's 10 but Quarantine markers still show. I understand and thank you, Bronco and Super for engaging with this frustration. I guess I'll have to keep posting and hopefully eventually the quarantine will drop off. Thanks again.
