This guy has a lot of skill obviously. He was a bantam and midget prodigy. But his injuries seem to have derailed his skating development.
Has he gotten any better with his skating this year? Does this guy still have a future with the Oilers?

Does this guy still have a future with the Oilers? He performed well in Europe. I'd like to see him play some NHL games. He might gel well with someone in the lineup and perform well. Jujhar has seemed to take Turris' spot. Turris has been playing wing. I wouldn't mind seeing Benson take Turris' wing spot for a few games. Hard to do this season. Might have to wait til next season. |

Best thing for his development is just let him play in the AHL till their season ends anyways, then maybe bring him up. But no point in having to go through quarantine. Just hope he stays healthy. And he can fight for a spot next pre season.

I wouldnt give up him just yet but he needs to work with whoever fixed Drai's skating. guy has the IQ and Hands of a good NHLer but speed is becoming more and more important
