Condors dropped a couple of close games on weekend, 3-2 Friday to the Reign and 4-2 Saturday to the Heat. Konovalov stopped 25 of 28 Friday in his AHL debut, McLeod scored his first of the season. Rodrigue stopped 20 of 23 in Saturday's loss, Marody 1g,1a. After points in all four of the Condors games, Seth Griffith leads the team in scoring with 2g, 4a. No Skinner, no wins, this weekend.

Konovalov only stopped 17 of 21 shots but it was enough to pick up his first AHL victory as the Condors beat the winless Eagles (Colorado) 5-4 on Wednesday. Schaller, Marody, Malone, Cracknell all had two point games and Griffith picked up an assist to keep his streak (2g,5a) alive at 5 games. Now 3-2-0 Bakersfield play back-to-backs starting today @ the Silver Knights (guess their franchise haha). GCG!  |

Welcome back Sammy! Condors win today over Knights 3-2 and Samorukov gets the GWG with 5 seconds left in regulation, attaboy!! Griffith with another apple today, as well as the Condors PP, have points in all of our six first games. Rodrigue got the W in net as we highly outshot them 42-15 in the game. Broberg with an assist today gives him four now as he looks to be off to a nice start to his season.
Tomorrow, same teams same place go at it again.

Condors dropped a pair of games on the weekend, 3-2 SOL to San Diego (Ana) and 6-3 to the undefeated (in reg 8-0-1) Reign (LA). Griffith picked up a couple goals and an assist to extend his pt streak to 9 games, as well the PP clicked in both games to keep it's streak alive at 9 games too. Konovalov stopped 24 of 26 in the shootout loss Friday. Saturday our goaltending was atrocious to say the least, though we outshot the Reign 40-19. Konovalov allowed 3 goals on 5 shots before Rodrigue allowed 3 goals on 14 shots. Team sits at 4-4-1 on the season.

The difference I believe is Skinner more and more. Kon and Rod are further down the depth chart for now. With Skinner the team wins, with the other tenders the team seems average.

Seems that way doesn't it. I reckon we'll see Skinner make an NHL appearance this week then he'll be back on the farm provided Smith is cleared to play. Konovalov is new to the AHL, he should adjust. Rodrigue I dunno. Time will tell.

Boys are on fiya down on the farm! Swept mini Colorado on the weekend, hopefully our big club can beat the Avs too, we've yet to play them. Great to see Holloway in there and having success, stoked to see what he brings to the NHL table down the road.
