The wins will come if my wish is granted Even that won't be enough for the "wins to come" unless we improve on this last run of losses where we have scored a whopping 1.8 goals per game. Goalie is a problem, agreed, but not as big as scoring under 2 goals on average per game during this losing streak. Just saying. What we really need is someone to get to the opponents blue ice, make their goalies life miserable, and for all players to adopt a shoot first mentality and stop this "over to you, no, back to you" approach, ie.........shoot the damn puck.....especially on the PP. Had the Oilers scored 3 goals per game instead of 1.8 over this five game losing streak, we would have taken a minimum of 3 pts, up to a possible 6, maybe more as the LA game would likely have turned out with a different ending. I just needed to get that off my chest  .

I just needed to get that off my chest . Good post and all true. But we let in 3 goals against and need to score 4 to win on average. Whatever we need to take care of the defensive side then the offense will take care of itself. Even if our bottom 6 become even, rather than leaky, this will help a lot.

It's gonna be interesting when Smith returns. His competiveness and ability to give guys sh-t on the ice along with his puck handling ability might just get us over this hump and back to before he was injured. We're getting the injuries back now and that will definitely help. They don't seem to be as fast as before, even McD looks to be not as fast and not skating with that free flowing stride. Everybodies uptight.

Are you either over 35?, unmotivated and/or never played in NHL before? If so and you want a multi million dollar, multi year contract, You'd probably have a pretty good shot!

I think it must have been Smith as I honestly can't remember last time Kosk had a shut out if ever and TBH it feels like years since we last played a complete enough game to get one?
