Well, this is the streakiest, most unpredictable, Oilers team I can remember.
After 13 games, we had 5 points. 2nd worse in the league.
After 45 games we have 59 points.
Are the goaltending problems solved? Can the depth scoring keep producing?
Trades?
Injuries?
So a simple question: How many points will we finish the regular season with??

The most mind-blowing stat I've seen around this is that if oilers win every single one of their remaining games they'd still finish 2pts behind last year's Bruins!!. IDK if that says something about how amazing the bruins were, or how bad we were at the beginning, but that would be a 50+ game streak if it happened and we would have still finished 2nd overall

That is totally crazy. I have no idea how the rest of the season plays out but hard not to feel confident with the way the boyz are playing. I'll say we run the final 37 at a 75% winning clip, good for 55 pts added to our current 59 pts puts us at 114 pts. Hope I'm wrong in a good way though and I wouldn't be surprised if I was.  114 points. Final answer. |

I'm not sure we can catch Nucks onlu because they havent seem to let up at all either? I'd be happy to be wrong though as i think home ice is very important in playoffs

Given the streakiness of the team, and the tougher schedule, I think we'll cool off some. Still top last year's total, and finish 2nd in the division as Doc said.
