Tyson Barrie becomes 1st d-man since Brian Leetch to put up 100 points.

- Draisaitl wins the Rocket with 61 goals - Puljujärvi pots 35 goals - Koskinen finds his groove and ends up taking the starting role from Smith - McDavid doesn’t with the Hart, loses out to Draisaitl - McDavid and Draisaitl finish with equal points, leading the league, and share the Art Ross - Nurse wins the Norris
And finally… - Even with all of the above, we get booted first round in 7 games

Barrie finishes the year top 10 in scoring and still, deservedly, not nominated for the Norris.

Koskinen gets 12 shut outs. They said "BOLD", not "1 IN A GOOGOLPLEX"

Somebody covers the shooter in front of the net twice in one game.

Kosko wins 25+ games and carries us to the Western Finals.
Kass and Foegele go together like peas&carrots. They both score 15+
Keith and Bouchard both hit 40 points, making us the top scoring defense in the league.

With a clearer picture of our bottom 6 following camp, expect 90 goals + this season from bottom 2 lines this year. The Oilers finally have the secondary offensive threat every night.

I'm with the Fog on the Koskinen prediction. Last year was by far the worst season of his career. There's no way he doesn't see at least some sort of a bounce back

There's no way he doesn't see at least some sort of a bounce back Actually Broncs, 2018/19 percentage wise was his worst year......he won 45% of the games he played in, and even 2019/20 was worse at a win ratio of 47%......last season he actually won 50% of the games he played in (26 appearances for 13 wins). For him to win 25 games, it is looking like he will have to make approaching 50 appearances, is that likely unless Smith goes down injured? The caveat is of course that we look to have a better team this season, but only time will tell. As you can see, I am not a Koskinen fan, but I am open to being converted this season........come on Mikko, we are with you win or draw .

I'm seeing an .899 in 20/21, which is his worst year since being a rookie and only playing 4 games for the Islanders in 2010. I guess I should have clarified that save percentage is what I focus on when talking goaltending. I couldn't care less about wins. What if he wins 10-8 but only faces 9 shots? he still wins but it's a horrible performance. To me the most important goaltending stat without question is save percentage.

I am comparing win % whereas you are comparing save %..........take your pick ..... but personally I value a win more than a few save % points, I would like to think that both Mike Smith and Mikko Koskinen also value wins over personal save %. And I couldn't care less about goalie save %............winning games is what really matters, and I doubt Dave Tippet would disagree. What good is (as an example) a 9.25 save % if we still lose the game? Also many shots are harder to get out of the way of than to actually save.......I don't quite agree with you, but that is what this forum is about, differing opinions. No problem with that.
