Isn't JP one of the top producers in his league? He was fourth overall in scoring last year for Karpat in the SM-liga league Yeah, so one of the top lol. Not saying he's a superstar but at least he's showing something. Maybe he hasn't "outgrown" the league like mrtea says, but he's performing.

If he was to continue at that rate it would be clear he has outgrown that league and needs tougher competition. Puljujarvi is a 22 yr old veteran of his league who was drafted quite high at #4 in the NHL. All he has shown so far is that he fits quite comfortably in the league that he now plays in. When Puljujarvi declares that his intentions are to return to the Edmonton Oilers and will try to reignite his NHL career I will welcome him back. All we have heard so far is less than encouraging from Puljujarvi's camp. Personally I want to hear more than vague rumors and news releases generated by fan desires. Until then I shall remain critical of anything to do with the disaster that has been Pujujarvi's professional career. In my opinion so far he has not acted very professional. I'm still waiting for him to grow up and change my mind.

JP had 395 shots in 50 some games. That's a lot of shooting. Of course his shooting % was only 6.1

Hopefully the combination of JP's NHL experience, and some confidence from his good play in Liiga adds up to something. I'm not convinced but I am hopeful.

Yes Broberg is no longer a rookie, he played 1 whole shortened season. Yes that seasoned sophomore who just turned 19 and has 1 whole game of Wiley sophomre experience. I fully realized he has only played 1 game that's why I said if he continues at that pace. It's also why I told Yuke I wasn't getting all giddy about his current success just yet. You want to pounce on me for calling Broberg a rookie, knock your self out. Broberg is technically not a rookie because he has played 1 whole game in his second season. Boy don't I feel foolish even though I was aware he was no longer a rookie by one game. Am I repeating myself, yes...and I'm loving every second.

Can we all get along and agree that Broberg will be awesome for us, and it's only a question of when?

It's impressive that he keeps up a high standard of play considering the bouncing around between AHL-NHL and all the different linemates he plays with. I've always been high on him and felt he never got the chance that Bouch got? Really hope they keep him and find room for him next year, but he's one of the few prospects other teams drool over and he may be "sacrificed" to make some cap room. He will become an NHLer somewhere, hope its here!
