Re-signed Corey Perry, 1 year $1.4 Million. Nice Toley, to be specific it's 1.15, 250k in potential bonuses. Don't really like it but that contract can be fully buried. I didn't catch the performance bonuses, any idea what it is? |

Where the heck is Janmark? Jeff Skinner, 3c, lol. Not sure we have enough cap to do it all unless we unload Ceci and find a top 4 RHD. Yeah not sure it can be done.

I really like this signing. When I originally heard he was getting bought out that was my first thought. I'm thrilled now that it happened.
It makes total sense for the guy being bought out, he gets money from two sources so it doesn't hurt him to sign a one year deal to prove himself. Then once he has had a good season propping up his numbers as an Oiler, then he can reap the benefits the next season. I think every player has chosen to do that puts up career year numbers or close to it with the oilers.

The Oilers just signed Janmark to a 3 yr deal at just under 1.5 a year, quickly in my head I think it's 1.45 or very close to that number.
I love this signing and I can't wait to see him and Brown paired on the PK and on the 3rd line together. They have great chemistry! I would have liked just 2 yrs, but he wanted term and an extra year seems like a good reward for his performance in the playoffs.
I think the team will be looking pretty good on paper, I'd love to add another good Dman but this is only the first day of FA, so....so good so far.

It feels sooo good to be able to retain players. I just watched Jackson's press conference, he said they are working on keeping Henrique, but nothing certain yet. That gives me hope, but we're not there yet. I'm really happy with what he was able to do so far.

Wow, how the heck are they doing all these signings. Going to have to look at cat friendly and figure things out, did not think we can do all this. So no Henrique, we have under 600k in cap space and have yet to sign Holloway and Broberg. Say each come in at 1 million, we need to clear 1.5 mil in cap just to fit everybody in. Stecher and Ryan would need to be in the minors. We would then have a 21 man roster.
