Not official but man how are they doing this? Argh I had this but had the wrong link 🤦😝😅 *Edit, obviously they'll have to move someone. Also most are lost cost deals. Shows what the locker room is like.

Wow, how the heck are they doing all these signings. Going to have to look at cat friendly and figure things out, did not think we can do all this. So no Henrique, we have under 600k in cap space and have yet to sign Holloway and Broberg. Say each come in at 1 million, we need to clear 1.5 mil in cap just to fit everybody in. Stecher and Ryan would need to be in the minors. We would then have a 21 man roster. Maybe we're finally going to use LTIR on Kane and keep him on it for most of the season. This will free up cap space and Kane can magically get better just before the playoffs. Everyone else does it, why not us?

Shows what the locker room is like.Bingo. For decades this team was a ghost town because nobody wanted to play here. It's still tough to lure players here vs. other far more desirable locations, but it sure looks like those that do come here like it enough to want to stay... that's a fantastic sign for this team

Players are taking discounts to be here for sure. Brown only 1 million when he looks back to his old self? Think when he got his 1st goal and got the huge ovation from the crowd he felt at home. Janmark wish he was closer to a million and not sure why Perry is coming back. If we do get Henrique, team is a bit slow in some areas. Minor gripe, lol

Not sure if this is true but on March 1st Kane's NMC becomes a 16 team list. If he's on LTIR this would make sense.

Still have to sign Holloway and Broberg, say 1 million each puts us 4.5 million over the cap with 24 players. Gives us an idea what the Oilers need to do to be cap compliant for the start of the season.

Geez this makes me the happiest. Nice work today toley, every tidbit we have posted has been correct except for Kase. Looks like this year is cup or bust. As per the Puckpedia above, if Kane is not LTIR to start and we don't trade Ceci we could start the season with a 20 man roster. If Broberg and Holloway do 900k instead of 1 million each. We can send down Stecher, Brown, Ryan and Perry and be cap compliant. Not ideal to have a 20 man roster. Yep all of this would fit under the cap. Nuge-McDavid-Hyman Skinner-Drai-Arvidsson Janmark-Henrique-Brown Kane-McLeod-Holloway Eks Bouch Nurse Broberg Kulak Ceci Stew Picks There's our 20 man roster that fits under the cap.

This looks like a very strong team although I’d prefer Kane on ltir or him and and Ceci gone completely to free up some cap to get one more solid top 4 dman. Maybe a trade would work too? Preds went nuts today and should move up the standings a fair bit and I think nucks consolidated themselves as a playoff team but other than that I think we may well have improved 2-3rd most in our conference and considering we were 1 -2shots away from winning it all that bodes really well for next year

If this is the case we can have a full 23 man roster. Crunched the numbers on the 20 man roster above and we are above the cap by 400k, assuming Broberg/Holloway sign for 900k. Would rather get longer term than 1 yr on those two players anyways. 2 x 1mil for each. With Kane on LTIR we get to have Perry and Ryan swapping in and out of the lineup as the 13-14 forwards, Brown and Stecher swapping as the 7th D.

I'm not sure what we have for prospects on the farm, but maybe if we use a couple of call ups we can save as few bucks that way also.

Now that we have Henrique signed for two more years, I feel much better about the 1st round pick we used to get him. I'm so happy that we can keep that 3rd line together. Chemistry baby!!

To LTIR Kane it would have to be for the entire season because we don't have $5.1 million in players to trade away down the road (taking nothing in salary back) to get him back in. I also don't see Kane as the type of player who comes back after being off for an entire season and jumps back in up to playoff speed. He didn't do it when he first got here and he hasn't done it coming back from any of his injuries so the chances of him doing it after an entire season off and then straight into playoff hockey are slim. According to Cap friendly we are $2.4 M over the cap without Broberg or Holloway so that would leave us at $4.4 million over the cap if they each signed $1m. Take away Ryan and Stetcher to get to 22 and you save about $1.6 so that would leave about $2.3 million to pick someone up if he was on LTIR for the whole season.
I also think it is going to be pretty darn hard to convince the league that Kane is so hurt that he can't return for the entire season if the sports hernia they have repeatedly said he is suffering from is the actual injury he has as that is not even close to a season ending injury.
There must be a plan to move someone out.
Edit: With all the signings yesterday, barring an injury, I don't even see where Kane fits in the lineup anymore. I assume part of the sell to getting guys like Skinner and Arvidsson was the chance to play in the top 6. Seems hard to fathom paying a guy over $5M to play on the 4th line. Maybe they are trying to force him into wanting to wave his no trade without asking.

I won't like being without Kane. Hockey is to be played tough and guys like Tockett still coach that way. Are we to expect 39 year old Perry to stick up for McDrai and the light weights?
