He still backs in way too much on a 1 on 1 situation, playing the puck instead of just taking the man. My only complaint, though.

He still backs in way too much on a 1 on 1 situation, playing the puck instead of just taking the man. My only complaint, though. He used to be even worse and I could not figure out why he kept doing it. The fact he's making progress is a good sign and as long as he's willing to learn he can get better. Slowly adding a bit more offense is also welcome. Last year when he was a lot worse at everything, it seemed like he was stubborn and didn't want to listen as if he knew better. I didn't like that version at all.

He played another great game last night, he shoved a lot of leafs out of the crease, but I still saw quite a bit of crashing into Stu, but not while he was on the ice? So maybe the problem is not him, but that we just need another agressive D-man, or Maybe "Vinny D" is becoming that guy too? It would be hard to mess with the D-chemistry atm, although I do think Ceci and Kulak could still be upgraded with some "Nasty" for their price point?
